Pick a track

Every track starts with a free level check. You get a written plan, a problem ladder matched to your level, notes after each session and a progress review every four weeks.

Contest track

Competitive programming

USACO Bronze to Gold, Codeforces rating goals, ICPC and IEEEXtreme preparation. Core algorithms, then the habits that win contests: reading carefully, testing edge cases, managing time.

US$45 per hour · 8-session pack US$320

Foundations track

Programming foundations

Python, C++ or Java for school students and beginners: variables to recursion and data structures, with practice that builds reasoning, not copying.

US$35 per hour · 8-session pack US$250

Small group

Groups of 2–4

Friends or classmates at the same level, on either track. Shared problems, individual feedback.

US$18 per student per hour

Teams

Mock contest and debrief

For school or university teams: a timed mock contest in your format, then a 90-minute debrief on strategy, problem selection and teamwork.

US$150 per team session

Students in Bangladesh: ask for local pricing in BDT.

How it works

Sessions run online (video call with a shared code editor) from Kuala Lumpur, GMT+8. That suits Asia and Australia in the daytime, the Gulf in the afternoon and evening, and North America in your evening.

  1. Level check. 30 minutes, free: a few problems, your goals, your schedule.
  2. Written plan. Topics, a problem ladder and a target, such as a USACO division or a rating.
  3. Weekly sessions. Solve, explain, review. Practice set and notes after every session.
  4. Review every 4 weeks. Progress against the plan; adjust pace and topics.

Questions

Who is the coach?

Ahsan Habib, founder of PearlHelix: university educator since 2013, senior full-stack developer, PhD candidate in computer science at Universiti Malaya, and two-time 1st place in Malaysia at IEEE's 24-hour IEEEXtreme programming competition. Full profile.

Do you help with homework or contest submissions?

No. Coaching builds your own skill. We don't complete graded coursework, take-home tests or live contest problems for anyone.

What do I need?

A laptop, a stable connection and an account on Codeforces or USACO.guide (free). For beginners, just a browser.

How do payment and cancellations work?

Packs are paid in advance; payment details come with your plan. Reschedule for free with 24 hours' notice. Unused sessions in a pack stay valid for 3 months.
